Through our education program at Peter's Vale we aim to immerse young people in a safe natural environment whilst teaching skills in woodland management, care of our planet and animals, tree identification, wilderness survival skills and bushcraft.
We believe that working with young people in small groups achieves the best outcomes allowing young people to improve their social skills, develop coping strategies all in a safe rugged setting.
We offer:
Natural wilderness immersion and conservation.
Team challenges and survival skills.
Group discussions around a campfire - marshmallows and hot chocolate provided!
Local hikes.
Foraging and cooking over an open fire.
Water collection and sterilisation.
Care of animals.
Following their visit, visitors will become a lifelong member of the Peter's Vale Community, with their name being engraved onto our community board.
